Greg Schettler

Greg Schettler is an educator with the Lord Selkirk School Division. He has his bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba where he graduated in 1996, and completed his first post-baccalaureate Diploma in Education at the University of Manitoba with a focus on guidance and counselling in 2010.

Greg currently teaches Geography, History and Sociology at the Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School and spent one year from February 2013 to February 2014 in a school initiated position where he facilitated the training of individual teachers, educational assistants, and departments such as Business Education, Social Studies, and Math, and various vocations within his school using the frameworks of Universal Design and Understanding by Design. He will be continuing his school initiated position for the first semester of the 2014 school year.

Greg has 17 years of experience teaching both at the junior high and high school levels and is committed to promote both social and academic inclusion through differentiated instruction with a focus on inquiry-based instruction and teaching for understanding.
