Chris Gusberti

Chris Gusberti is new this year with the Manitoba Rural Learning Consortium.  He is currently a math teacher at Collège Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau French immersion high school in the River East Transcona School Division.  He has worked as a math teacher at CPET for the past 10 years.

Chris has been a leader in mathematics in his school and divisionally for the past 8 years. Chris has given many workshops in mathematics and technology.  Using technology in the classroom is something that he feels very strongly about.  The integration of smart technology for interaction, video and recording lessons enriches student learning and retention of abstract subjects.

Chris has worked with the province of Manitoba for the last 3 years on the pre-calculus test development committee.  He has been a facilitator for the local marker training sessions, divisionally and provincially.  Chris enjoys providing support to math teachers who want to keep current in their domain and are excited to implement a variety of teaching strategies.

Not only an enthusiastic mathematician, Chris is a family man as well.  Living in rural Cooks Creek, he has a passion for making the outdoors a fun place to be.  Four young children ages 9, 7, 5 and 1 keep him on the move at all times.

To contact Chris please email him at cgusberti@retsd.mb.ca or call him at 1-204-958-6888.
